If you have 12 oz cans of apricot nectar, use two. You can substitute 1/4 cup dried onion flakes if you don't have a fresh onion. You can also use ranch dressing mix- whichever one is available.
To cook in the crock pot or slow cooker, cook on low for 4-6 hours.
There is a fair amount of "sauce" in this dish, and it pairs nicely with green vegetables or salad. Apricot is a flavor that goes over well with kids, too!
