A set of Natural Fans from Oriental Trading were painted as sunflower leaves and petals. We used regular acrylic craft paint in shades of green, yellow, and orange. (The two largest were the leaves.) The fans were arranged in a shallow basket and a bowl of Hershey’s kisses was added to make the “center” of the flower. Guests were asked to help themselves to candy and to take the fans home as favors. These fans are well made and come in sets of 12. They are listed as “approx 10 inches” and I didn’t measure them, but they definitely are not uniform in size. They were perfect for this project because the smallest fans made center petals and the largest were the leaves.
